During our State study students read the story of Flat Stanley and then made a "Flat Stanley" of their own. They then selected someone to mail it off to. We have had lots of fun hearing and reading all about their travels throughout the U.S.
On Wednesday, May 3rd the Savannah classes headed out to Caron County Park to plant the milkweed plants they grew in the breezeway. They also leaveled off the gopher mounds and spread a variety of prairie grass seeds.
Thanks to our amazing PTO the Savannah and Prairie classes got to spend the day at the MN Zoo. It was a beautiful sunny day full of hands-on animal fun!
